Biography:
Jameson Lopp has been actively building in the Bitcoin space since 2015 and has become one of the most respected voices in the Bitcoin developer community. He was previously an engineer at BitGo, developing its high-grade, multi-sig custody service before joining Casa, a company providing secure wallets and plug-in-play infrastructure solutions for Bitcoin.
Jameson Lopp's 2019:
Since launching in 2018, Casa has become one of the premier stops for accessible and secure Bitcoin hardware. In March, Lopp was featured in a New York Times piece, “How a Bitcoin Evangelist Made Himself Vanish, in 15 (Not So Easy) Steps,” which detailed the cypherpunk’s process of going “off-grid” following a swatting attempt. The article highlighted just how thorough one must be to reclaim privacy in the modern age of technology and record-keeping.
What Cointelegraph expects for 2020:
We expect Lopp and the Casa team to improve upon their existing product line with the possibility of new products launching in 2020. For Lopp himself, we anticipate that he will present at various Bitcoin developer conferences around the world.
