Laura Shin is a journalist covering crypto and blockchain. Shin is best known as one of the first mainstream reporters to cover digital currencies and is a former senior editor for Forbes. She also worked as a reporter for Newsweek, a technical writer for the Wall Street Journal and a producer at The New York Times. Currently, Shin is the producer and host of the podcasts "Unchained" and "Unconfirmed," and is writing a book about cryptocurrencies.

While Shin hosted numerous crypto luminaries on her podcasts throughout 2019, perhaps the biggest milestone was the launch of the Unchained Live conference, bringing deep-dive industry conversations onto the stage.

We expect Shin will continue mining insight from new and returning podcast guests throughout the year. She is set to be a media partner for the Magical Crypto Conference from May 11 to 12. We also anticipate the second Unchained Live show sometime in the new year.
