Professional experience and achievement

 
Diego pioneered web development in Argentina beginning in 1995. He was part of the founding teams at Clarín Digital, the website for Aretina’s main newspaper; Patagon.com, a financial community sold to Banco Santander for $750 million; Internet Argentina, the first Argentinean ISP to provide ADSL; and Edunexo, a SaaS platform for administering public and private educational institutions in Latin America and Spain.
 
He also held positions as R&D Manager for ElSitio.com, leading a team of 20 developers and CTO at Trusted Translations, Inc.
 
He currently is a founding partner of the following endeavours:
 
  • Xinergia, a leading edge web development company
  • Cero a Cien, a managing and tutoring platform for entrepreneurs
  • Arraiga, an IT training and labour insertion platform
  • Restocoins, a payment system to ease Bitcoin acceptance at restaurants and cafes
 
Role in the Bitcoin community
 
Diego is one of the founders of the Argentinean Bitcoin Community, with more than 1000 members, and organized the first Bitcoin conference in Latin America.
 
He also has a central role in spreading the word about Bitcoin in the region by contributing to the creation of grassroots communities in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, México, Nicaragua, Paraguay and Uruguay.
