Bitmain News

A private, Beijing-based company, Bitmain Technology Holding Company, or Bitmain, produces blockchain and artificial intelligence-specific hardware and software components. Micree Zhan and Jihan Wu founded Bitmain in 2013. Wu formerly served as Bitmain’s CEO. As a solution to disputes between Wu and Zhan, however, Wu departed his posts as Bitmain CEO and chairman in 2021.

Bitmain is the company behind the Antminer, a well-known crypto mining hardware brand. Bitmain has built multiple models under the Antminer name, including the Bitmain Antminer S9, the Bitmain Antminer S17, the Antminer T19 and the Antminer S19. Bitmain also makes a mining farm product called Antbox.
