Press Release

November 15, 2018 – St. Moritz:

  • PwC and CFC are entering into a strategic partnership for future conferences
  • Both parties benefit from knowledge exchange and appearances by PwC experts at the CFC
  • Dr. Guenther Dobrauz Saldapenna (PwC) joining CFC as a speaker for fourth consecutive time

Over the last year, the Crypto Finance Conference (CFC) has proven itself as an important platform and gathering for serious investors and blockchain enthusiasts. Shortly after the overwhelming success of the inaugural conference in St. Moritz, Switzerland, in January 2018, the exclusive investor event expanded to Geneva, Switzerland and later California in the US. The next Crypto Finance Conference takes participants and speakers back to St. Moritz, where it all began, before the conference expands to Tokyo, Japan, in May 2019.

Dr. Guenther Dobrauz-Saldapenna, Partner and Leader PwC Legal Switzerland as well as other PwC subject matter experts have been valued speakers and partners since the beginning. With the expansion of the CFC to new markets, new partnerships and collaborations become essential to maintain the high quality of all CFC events. After the development of a strong relationship between the two companies, PwC and CFC are now entering into a strategic partnership for future conferences.

“Over the last year, Dr. Guenther Dobrauz Saldapenna has been adding tremendous value to all of our events with his insightful keynotes and speeches. We are proud to now take it a step further and kick off a strategic partnership with PwC at our next conference in St. Moritz. We are also looking forward to knowledge transfer in the form of content and stage appearances by him and other key PwC experts, which will first and foremost benefit the participants of our conferences.” says Nicolo Stoehr, CEO of the Crypto Finance Conference.

“Blockchain is one of the truly transformative technologies of our time, which will impact and transform all our lives. As such, it is high on our agenda and we are proud to have a diverse team of experts from all the different areas of our multi-disciplinary practice at the disposal of our clients to help them solve important problems and build trust in the technology and ultimately in society, true to our mission. CFC has swiftly become one of the most important gatherings of industry leaders and those shaping the future, and as such we are happy to contribute to this forum.” says Dieter Wirth, Member of the Management Board of PwC Switzerland and of the Executive Team of PwC Europe.
