Press Release

Zug, 29 April, 2021 — The Occam Association is delighted to announce that one of the first IDOs to launch through the OccamRazer platform will be deFIRE— a project incubated and supported by Occam.fi and powered by Changelly’s vast network and domain expertise. The industry leader in cross-chain liquidity provision and trade settlement services since 2015, Changelly provides market-leading cross-chain swap infrastructure to 350 API partners including giants such as Exodus, Ledger, and MyEtherWallet; and supports over 200 cryptocurrencies across dozens of blockchains on its platform.

deFIRE is a DeFi platform designed for the Cardano ecosystem, offering optimal execution services across decentralised exchanges (DEXs) for token swaps, order routing services across DEXs, and providing intermediary services between order flow originators (e.g. wallets) and ultimate execution venues (e.g. DEXs). The deFIRE token will make its debut through an IDO on the OccamRazer platform.

Mark Berger, President of the Occam Association, says:

“Our mission is to bring quality, ready-to-deploy projects into the Cardano ecosystem. We are not content with bringing new and unproven technology to Cardano’s DeFi landscape, which is why OccamRazer’s first IDOs are recognisable innovators in our industry. deFIRE, incubated through the Occam.fi ecosystem in collaboration with Changelly, is one such project, designed by a team already leaders in their field, and now ready to diversify  their current offering with the dual-launch of the deFIRE token and new trading tools for the Cardano ecosystem. ”

Furthering the scope of the Occam.fi and Changelly collaboration, deFIRE will be the first platform to offer Cardano native token swaps, allowing any token holder to swap one Cardano token for another directly. It will also be the first, and possibly one of the most significant, fiat on-ramps for Cardano native tokens and ADA.

Eric Benz, CEO at Changelly, says:

“We carefully analysed the current decentralised launchpad landscape when we planned to participate in the release of the deFIRE token. We found that the infrastructure and components that Occam.fi had built through OccamRazer were unparalleled in scope, and moreover it allows us to extend our focus to the promising and rapidly expanding Cardano ecosystem. We look forward to releasing more details about the project and IDO very soon.”

More details on the deFIRE token IDO through the OccamRazer platform will be announced soon. Please ensure you follow Occam.fi’s social media channels to stay up to date with the latest news:
