SAN FRANCISCO – Blockchain-native PR agency, Multiplied, has partnered with crypto giving platform, The Giving Block, to host a virtual COVID-19 relief charity festival called D3: Donate, Dance, Decentralize, supported by Cointelegraph. Taking place on GivingTuesdayNow, May 5, 2020, D3 will live stream EDM artists ill.Gates, Kill Paris, 3LAU and RAC to an international audience in an effort to raise funds for those most impacted by the Coronavirus.

The digital fundraiser, a free to attend event, will be hosted on Tiltify on Giving Tuesday Now, a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. The event will benefit more than 17 charitable organizations including:

  • Mona Foundation
  • International Medical Corps
  • The Water Project

The D3 concert will be part of the broader #cryptoCOVID19 campaign to support nonprofits on the front lines of COVID-19 which has already raised over $400,000 to date.

Michael Earley, Head of Research at The Giving Block, commented, “amid the economic turmoil and residual fallout of COVID-19, people around the world are eager to offer support to on-the-ground relief initiatives. However, mass quarantines and social distancing are sidelining many would-be philanthropists. D3 presents an opportunity to get involved with a charitable cause virtually, while also enjoying some of the top EDM artists in the world.”

Also supporting the efforts is digital media & blockchain pioneer Austin Davis who shared, “philanthropy is a powerful way to create lasting impact,  fueling an exponential effect that permeates global culture… combined with the viral power of music, this series shall be an unstoppable force!”

Sponsors include:

  • Moonpay
  • Unstoppable Domains
  • Bitcasino.io
  • NULS
  • Proof of Impact
  • SkioMusic.com

“This is an opportunity for us to showcase the power of decentralized collaboration,” added Multiplied founding partner, Ben Noble. “It’s about community, caring, understanding and support. The goal is to use crypto to send a positive and far-reaching message, while raising funds to support those facing the most pressure from COVID. In addition, this event will provide people social interaction and camaraderie they need to escape current quarantine anxieties.”
