Press Release

The wallet platform has expanded its exchange capabilities, exponentially decreasing transaction processing times, while likewise slashing transaction minimums in half.

Freewallet, one of the most popular wallet platforms for crypto enthusiasts, has just significantly bolstered its exchange capabilities. The changes consist of the introduction of instant, fee-free exchanges and a significant reduction in the minimum sum required to make a transaction. These developments are the latest in Freewallet’s emergence as a one-stop center where users can take care of all their crypto needs.

With the update, exchange speeds are now among the fastest in the industry, clocking in at an average completion time of less than a minute. These instant, smart exchanges are available for over 50 of Freewallet’s supported currencies, including BTC, ETH, USDT, XRP, and LTE. The increased speed was made possible thanks to the implementation of smart exchange technology.

The speed increase does not spell out an accompanying fee hike for Freewallet users. In fact, nearly the opposite has occurred. While rates on transactions have remained the same, the minimum amount necessary to make a transaction has been cut in half to the equivalent of $5. In addition to all of this, users that are making transactions within the Freewallet ecosystem are still able to enjoy them at no cost.

The improvements to Freewallet’s exchange functionality come at a significant time for the industry. With BTC climbing back to ATH levels, and the industry as a whole enjoying something of a renaissance, Freewallet users will be in prime position to take action in a market where speed can mean everything.

These changes, added to the already venerable security and intuitive design of the platform, have helped transform it into more of a crypto swiss army knife than a mere storage application. Regarding the changes, Freewallet’s Head of PR Solomon Brown commented: “This is a big step for us and where we are going as a platform. For a long time, we have wanted to make Freewallet a place where users of all experience levels could simply and conveniently take care of all their crypto needs. Now, with the fastest exchange speeds, low transaction fees, and the best security out there, we are really proud of what our users are getting.”

Like the new transactions, getting started with Freewallet can be done in the snap of the fingers. Just head over to the website where all you need is a phone number, email address, or Facebook account.
