The Swiss-based gaming studio EverdreamSoft commits to hold 18’000’000 BitCrystals, representing 60% of the total amount of the company’s holdings in BCY, in a dedicated digital wallet until June 30, 2018.
During their Initial Coin Offering (ICO) known as the “BitCrystals Token Sale”, which was held during one month in summer 2015, EverdreamSoft (EDS) created 100’000’000 BitCrystals (BCY). This crowdfunding campaign aimed to fund the development of Spells of Genesis, the first blockchain-based mobile game.
After the end of the crowdsale campaign:
- 55’566’099.18 BCY were burnt by being sent to the SoG Burn wallet address: 1BURNSogXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXW3
ny2Y - 30’000’000 BCY were allocated to EverdreamSoft for product development and marketing
- 14’433’900.82 BCY were distributed to the BitCrystals Token Sale backers
On April 20, 2017, the company reached an important milestone: Spells of Genesis was globally launched on the App Store and Google Play. EDS keeps developing the game by regularly adding new features and content. The company also envisions some wider, blockchain-based projects, in order to increase the general interest in BCY.
EverdreamSoft desires to retain the main portion of its BitCrystals’ holdings for the long term and commits to not sell any of the BitCrystals held in this “Freeze” wallet before June 30, 2018.
