The ability of Elon Musk, eccentric billionaire and self-acclaimed Dogefather, to move the markets is unparalleled and this time, it’s with a cryptocurrency called Floki Inu.
Floki Inu (FLOKI) is the first token to launch months ago before Musk tweeted that he would be buying a Shiba Inu and naming it Floki.
Unlike the other Floki tokens that sprung up after Musk’s initial tweet, Floki Inu survived two rugs due to a persistent community that decided to take over and save it no matter what. It has since grown significantly to achieve a partnership with Million Gardens, an initiative led by Musk’s brother, Kimbal Musk, and has a cult-like community that rivals Shiba Inu (SHIB) in reach and impact.
Within minutes of Musk posting a tweet saying that he purchased a Shiba Inu and named it Floki, Floki Inu’s price increased by over 100%. Musk now owns a Shiba Inu named Floki and most likely will continue to tweet about his new puppy.
Capitalizing on this development, Floki Inu’s most recent moves include announcing its in-production nonfungible token gaming metaverse, ramping up marketing with a partnership with South Korean marketing powerhouse Pantera ICO and securing a New York Times Square billboard from now to the end of the year, as well as strategically teaming up with the Million Gardens Movement, a project started by Kimbal Musk.
Tapping on the popularity of the NFT gaming metaverse space
Floki Inu unveiled its flagship project named Valhalla, which is a play-to-earn NFT metaverse game run on the Floki Inu token. In addition to being rewarded for battling, everything that you obtain in the metaverse is yours to own and sell as you please.
The leadership team working on Valhalla has extensive experience in NFT gaming. The lead developers have been working on NFT games since 2017 and are at the head of a development team that will soon be made up of about 20 individuals. The team is onboarding high-profile advisors with experience developing successful mainstream addictive games.
Metaverse and NFT gaming are rapidly gaining popularity. Projects such as Decentraland, Axie Infinity and Starlink have taken a front-row seat in the rollout of the metaverse. Axie Infinity shattered records over the last few months. Over the past month alone, Axie Infinity’s protocol revenue exceeded $330 million, doubling Ethereum’s revenue which stood at $152 million, according to data from Token Terminal. Valhalla’s Vera collection will seek to compete for that market share.
Decentraland has been breaking records with the sale of digital real estate. One of the most expensive plots of land sold for almost $1 million. Valhalla seeks to take a portion of this market share with both its customizable ships and eventual housing system.
Valhalla will be taking advantage of the benefits of both of these games, which also means incredible value for token holders.
Ramping up marketing, including leveraging a recent partnership with South Korean powerhouse marketing company, Pantera ICO
Floki Inu recently announced a strategic marketing partnership with Pantera ICO, South Korea’s leading growth accelerator and marketing giant. Pantera ICO is the official South Korean marketing partner for multi-billion-dollar NFT giant Animoca Brands, which developed The Sandbox ($2.4 billion diluted market capitalization) and boasts of NFT giants Axie Infinity ($4 billion market cap), OpenSea and CryptoKitties in its portfolio.
In addition to being a marketing powerhouse in South Korea, Pantera ICO is also a major South Korean partner and marketing group for top exchanges such as OKEx, KuCoin and MEXC. This partnership will help Floki Inu break into the highly competitive crypto market in South Korea.
In addition to the recent partnership with Pantera ICO, Floki Inu will be lighting up the New York Times Square sky with a billboard lasting from September to the end of the year. Floki Inu is targeting every major metropolitan area across the globe so keep a lookout for future marketing announcements.
The Floki Inu brand continues to grow with the Million Gardens Movement partnership
With a community-minded emphasis, Floki Inu partnered with one of the most community-based non-profit organizations. The Million Gardens Movement works to give power back to the community to choose, grow, prepare and eat healthy food. What is also particularly exciting about this partnership is the collection of leaders involved in the Million Gardens Movement: Kimbal Musk and Frank Giustra, who are two industry-leading powerhouses.
It was an obvious move for Floki Inu, which was based on a tweet from Elon Musk, to partner with a project started by his brother. Floki Inu loves the initiative led by Kimbal Musk and is excited to work alongside the organization.
