Dublin Tech Summit returns this April for its third year. After a move to a bigger venue and the announcement of some really interesting keynote speakers already confirmed, it’s looking set to be the most exciting year yet for the Irish tech conference.
One of the speakers we are really looking forward to is Colonel Chris Hadfield who boasts titles such as astronaut, engineer, bestselling author and musician, has even been referred to as “The most famous astronaut since Neil Armstrong.”
Equally as interesting, despite fewer years experience, is Alyssa Carson. This 17 year-old has dedicated her life to her mission to Mars and is set to become the first person to reach the red planet which will be a massive progression for humanity in our quest for space exploration.
Also confirmed for this year is Amazon Vice president & CTO Werner Vogels, NASA CTO Douglas Terrier and co-founder of Ethereum Mihai Alisie.
DTS has always put a strong focus on diversity with the aim of creating more equal and inclusive tech events and this year will be no different with some serious female role models giving keynotes. We will see Martha Lane Fox, co-founder of lastminute.com, Cassie Kozyrkov, Google Chief Decision Scientist and Amanda Gutterman, ConsenSys Chief Marketing Officer among many others.
There will be strong attention on content and exploring emerging technologies such as blockchain, AI, and 5g, with an eagerness to uncover what future impact these technologies may have on business and society.
You can expect to see some really interesting product demos, take part in workshops and hackathons, and enhance your technical skills at the developer stage so it will be a really interactive event that guarantees to leave you inspired.
