Press Release

Dallas, Texas, Sept. 9, 2021 — Dak Prescott, an American football quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League who is also known as “D4K,” is getting ready to release his exclusive nonfungible token collection on the premier platform, Ethernity Chain.

The NFT collection will be available from Sept. 9, 2021, the same night as the season opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. These rare NFTs will feature popular artists Impossible Brief and Visual Lab. Notably, they’ll be Ethernity’s very first “interactive” NFTs with three different settings, which will be set to change during the 2021 football season according to gameplay.

It’s worth noting that Ethernity’s application developers have coded special blockchain or distributed ledger technology-enabled attributes that will make this NFT like no other.

Every week, the NFT will be changing styles according to gamer performance: standard performance of a total quarterback rating of 60 to 75 sees Prescott in futuristic blue and silver, in throwing motion, ready to lead his team to victory.

This exclusive NFT release includes a series of “unlockables,” which are physical goods and experiences that Ethernity has become well-known for featuring across all of its releases. These types of incentives and events are aimed at bridging or bringing together the physical and digital worlds, which is carried out by harnessing the power of blockchain technology.

This includes a jersey signed by Prescott, a signed football, signed cleats, as well as two tickets to a Dallas Cowboys home game this season. All “unlockable” winning items will be determined by using Chainlink’s Verifiable Random Function randomizer in raffle form on the blockchain or a DLT platform.

Now with NFTs or digital collectibles becoming increasingly popular, with more than $1.5 billion in aggregate trading volume during Q1 2021, combining sports collectibles with NFTs seems like a natural combination. That doesn’t change how innovative it is for sports enthusiasts and collectors.

About Ethernity

Ethernity is a groundbreaking authenticated NFT project which auctions verified artwork featuring the top artists and stars from sports, music, film, gaming, technology, history and entertainment. Each of these digital artworks is represented as an NFT. The pieces feature well-known public figures and a portion of all funds raised from the endeavor will be donated to charitable causes. Ethernity Chain combines the utility of decentralized finance and merges it with NFTs to create an exclusive pipeline to rare, collectible content from notable figures and well-established digital artists.
