Press Release

BlockDown returns October 22-23 for a Halloween event that promises to be the best virtual conference yet. No tricks, just treats.

Akon, Chairman and Co founder of revolutionary crypto project Akoin, will headline the event, alongside Chainlink co-founder and CEO Sergey Nazarov, with many more big names and projects due to be unveiled in the coming weeks.

BlockDown has rocked the world of virtual events in 2020, laying the foundations for a new way to host and organise conferences, as well as attracting over 10,000 attendees globally.

For BlockDown 3.0, organisers EAK Digital will once again bring a wave of ground-breaking keynotes and spark informed and hotly contested debates and fireside chats alongside participating journalists from mainstream media such as Bloomberg and Forbes.

The event, which is free to attend, will be dedicating a full day to discussing decentralised finance (defi), its implications, impact and what it means for the future of finance. The exclusive roundtable sessions will also be back, having launched at the previous BlockDown conference, with sessions hosted by computer giants IBM and Oracle.

BlockDown 3.0 will be streamed across leading news sites CryptoSlate NewsBTC, Bitcoinist, CriptoNoticias, Theta.TV and Cryptonews, making it available to millions of viewers easily through these sites’ own home pages.

BlockDown is the brainchild of leading blockchain and crypto PR agency EAK Digital, led by Founder & CEO Erhan Korhaliller.

“We are all extremely excited to organize the third edition of the Blockdown Conference, and to continue to set the bar high for the virtual conference space. We look forward to welcoming our guests once again and tackling the latest challenges and trends with the blockchain industries finest minds.”

Previous editions of BlockDown have attracted top reviews from some of the biggest names in the industry with Akon, Erik Voorhees, Roger Ver and Nicholas Merten from Datadash all providing glowing feedback.

A Phantom Party

To mark the season and ensure everyone suitably winds down after two busy days, BlockDown’s traditional virtual afterparty will be a Halloween spectacular with pumpkins, ghosts, ghouls and witches galore.

BlockDown’s next edition will be held on October 22-23. To find out more, head to www.blockdownconf.com to sign up and register, join the BlockDown telegram or email contact@blockdownconf.com.
