Toronto, Canada; April 1, 2020 – The Blockchain Research Institute (BRI) and Orient Publishing Center (OPC) today announced a new partnership to translate the BRI’s four-book series on blockchain for the Chinese market. This new initiative is another part of an ongoing effort for the Blockchain Research Institute to expand its work in China, the world’s fastest-growing market for blockchain technology.
The book series comprises four compilations of curated BRI research, all exploring specific blockchain’s impact on specific industries, as well as the ways blockchain is transforming the structure of the corporation. Under agreement with the members who fund the BRI, select research may be made available to the public after a period of exclusivity.
The book series first launched in January 2020 in North America with the release of Financial Services Revolution, edited by Alex Tapscott. The second compilation, Supply Chain Revolution, is due to be released in Q2 of this year in North America.
“This book series has proven to be an excellent way of making sure the public can benefit from the BRI’s world-class thought leadership,” said Alex Tapscott, co-founder of the Blockchain Research Institute and editor of Financial Services Revolution. “This partnership with Orient Publishing Center, an award-winning publisher and part of the China Publishing Group, will expand on that work, helping to accelerate blockchain transformations in China.”
The first book in the series will be available for sale to the general public in China in Q4 of this year.
“Now blockchain is developing rapidly throughout the world, and BRI is the leader in this field, said Zhao Dong, General Manager of Orient Publishing Center. “This cooperation is an important achievement of international cooperation of OPC, as well as the achievement of 2019 Overseas Training Course for Executives of China Publishing Group.”
“The Chinese version of this series will help Chinese readers better understand this emerging technology and promote the application of blockchain in all trades and professions in China.”
