Kick-Off Party Announced for Friday, Jan. 16, at Clevelander Hotel

The North American Bitcoin Conference Miami today announced its full schedule for the upcoming event that will be held from January 16 to 18, 2015, in Miami Beach.

With top companies such as Overstock.com and Microsoft making headlines for their interest in digital currencies and blockchain technology, the time has never been more critical for the conference, which regularly attracts thousands of attendees from around the world.

“The North American Bitcoin Conference is a direction-setting conference aimed at driving the currency from speculation to mainstream,” said conference organizer Moe Levin to Cointelegraph, the official media sponsor of the event. He further explained:

“One of the big aims of this conference is to help set the direction for Bitcoin’s near future. I can’t imagine a better group of speakers and attendees to enable that. With their help, I think we will make some headway in defining the largest teething points that are inhibiting growth and make some steps toward overcoming these with new technologies and a more unified approach.”

Among the topics to be discussed are: running companies without bank accounts, the experience of having a US$50 million exit for a 2-year-old company, and how Bitcoin can better the world, improve lives and bridge the gap between Old World and New World banking.

In addition, there will be a startup stage featuring live pitches from some of the most exciting new ventures in the cryptocurrency space.

The full tentative schedule is presented below and can also be downloaded here.

The conference has already attracted some of the most prominent members of the crypto community, including entrepreneurs, currency experts and developers.

Located at the historic Filmore Theatre in Miami Beach, at the Jackie Gleason Theater, the NABC Miami will shine a light on Bitcoin’s future and support its increasingly diverse community by promoting entrepreneurial ingenuity and further increasing public knowledge of the digital currency.

In just two short years, the North American Bitcoin Conference has grown from 100 attendees in 2012 to over 2,000 visitors from 30 countries in 2014. The NABC’s founders believe that the Bitcoin community is responsible for this success, and in turn, are putting the community first, not only by keeping the conference affordable, but also by providing outstanding networking and educational opportunities not to be found elsewhere.

TNABC Miami is also partnering with Clevelander Hotel in the heart of Miami Beach, which will host the official kick-off party and many of the conference’s speakers. The kick-off party will take place poolside at the main bar, the best location to meet the Bitcoin industry’s movers and shakers.

Special room rates also will be available for attendees using the rate code “BTC”.
