The Bitcoin South conference in beautiful Queenstown, New Zealand was a smashing success, but don’t just take our word for it. All you need to do is keep an eye on Jeffrey Tucker’s twitter feed:

Every speaker was better than the next, and you can now watch them all, as the presentations were professionally recorded, thanks to the organizers at Brave New Coin. Andreas Antonopoulos started off the festivities with the opening keynote titled “Money as a Content Type”:

Immediately following Andreas’s presentation, another Bitcoin heavyweight took the stage to discuss the history of money and attempt to answer the question of whether the world is ready for a cryptocurrency monetary system.

In addition to these two world-famous personalities, there were many exciting presentation to watch on topics such as mining, exchanges, Bitcoin lobbying in Washington, mobile payments, casinos, and of course regulation. While not all the videos have been posted, you can find more than half on the website for your viewing pleasure. So even though the conference was thousands of miles away from the majority of the world, you can watch it all in the comfort of your own home, or like many did on their smartphone during the busy schedule.

As for the fun activities outside the conference, well, not much beats this little town at the edge of the world. There was something for everyone, from bungee jumping, to speed boating, to wine tasting. Everyone who attended is already asking about next year, and since all the videos are going online, anyone who intends to speak again can start working on something even more engaging to the audience for next year.

Cointelegraph was proud to be a media partner, but the sponsors made it all happen and deserve a mention. They included Bitto, Brave New Coin, Genesis Mining and Coinex Gateway, who provided the Internet for the event. We now leave you with some pictures from inside and outside the conference.

We wish the organizers of Bitcoin South great success as they spread the power of Bitcoin throughout the regions of New Zealand, Australia and beyond. We hope to attend and cover more of their conferences in the years to come.
